Regional Funding Advice: North East England 2009

Abstract

This Advice has been produced during a period of significant economic and institutional change and in advance of a new Integrated Regional Strategy, however the North East welcomes the opportunity presented by RFA 2009 to restate and clarify our priorities in this new context.

The production of this advice has been led in collaboration between One North East, the Association of North East Councils and the North East Assembly. The advice has been developed in close partnership with key regional stakeholders including the Homes and Communities Agency, Government Office North East, the Learning and Skills Council and the regional business community. We have also consulted widely with a range of other regional stakeholders including HE and FE institutions, environmental bodies and the third sector through two regional workshop sessions and a number of consultation meetings.
