Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment Implementation Guidance

Abstract

National Government Guidance (Aug 2007) for Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) requires regional planning bodies, local planning authorities and key stakeholders to work together to identify land with the potential to be developed for housing. This implementation guide is written as a common framework for the North East region and has been jointly developed between the North East Assembly, Government Office for the North East, One Northeast, the Homebuilders Federation and North East local authorities.
