We provide support to the interim regional planning body, known as the North East Planning Body (NEPB), which will deliver statutory planning functions until there is legislative change.
Wind study: East Durham Limestone and Tees Valley The study undertakes a high level cumulative impact assessment excercise for current wind farm in the Tees Plain area at both application and scoping stage. The study should be used as an addendum to the East Durham Limestone and Tees Plain wind study.
RSS implementation plan - August 2009 The updated implementation plan identifies delivery agents and mechanisms,procedures for monitoring the Regional Spatial Strategy's implementation, including targets and indicators, and procedures for reviewing the Regional Spatial Strategy.
We prepare the Regional Spatial Strategy that guides development in the region for the next 20 years and beyond. We also monitor how the strategy is being put into practice and we comment on major planning applications.
