RSS documents

The Regional Spatial Strategy (RSS) was developed by the North East Assembly (NEA) in co-operation with local authorities and regional partners. The RSS was submitted to the Government and underwent an Examination in Public before publication by the Secretary of State in July 2008.

Included on this website are documents relating to the RSS that were produced by the NEA and the Association of North East Councils. Other documents have been produced by the Government and by the independent panel which carried out the Examination in Public (EiP).
