International co-operation

The North East Assembly recognised the value of international co-operation in making North East England a better place to live, study and work and in which to do business. International co-operation also helped the NEA deliver its work more effectively on issues such as the environment, industry, energy and spatial planning. Our role in encouraging and developing partnership working across sectors has involved working closely with these regions:
